Institutional Marketing & Communications

The mission of Institutional Marketing and Communications is to support all areas of Austin College in developing meaningful and effective messaging to the various constituent groups served by this historic institution. Our constituent groups include prospective students and families, our current students and families, faculty and staff, alumni, friends, and the broader public.

The vision of Institutional Marketing and Communications is to enhance the national reputation of Austin College as a truly distinctive institution of higher education known for its commitment to academic excellence, intellectual and personal integrity, and participation in community life.

We serve the entire college to create content that is compelling, consistent with our brand, and produced professionally. We do this by:

• Developing communication channels and strategies to advance the reputation of the College;
• Providing a range of creative services that support both internal and external communication needs for staff and faculty in all departments;
• Safeguarding the College’s brand at the highest standard;
• Cultivating strategic relationships with external partners to extend the influence of the College;
• Promoting Austin College via brand awareness marketing campaigns and other advertising;
• Fielding media requests and promoting Austin College to the media.
• Seeking out and sharing the stories of Austin College students, faculty, and alumni (through publications, website, video, press involvement, emails, etc.) that exhibit the culture and community that is at the heart of our identity and mission.
